UEFA B qualified Coach I have been coaching for a number of years and I feel during this time I have benefitted and gained a vast amount of experience from working with children of both genders, all age groups and differing backgrounds. Coaching experience has included roles with South Gloucestershire Development Centre and Yate Town Development Centre. I have also been a scout for Bristol Rovers, Bristol City & Cardiff City FC.
I have developed a real passion for the game and those under my tutelage. I feel I can make a difference in their advancement because I truly believe in order for us to develop creative players of the future we must create an environment where children can express themselves without the fear of failure. I have put this into practice, with one of my ex players ,who was struggling. I helped give him the confidence with my beliefs and philosophy which aided his development.

Garry is willing to travel up to 10 miles from his training locations.
Great first session. Garry provided a welcoming mix of challenge, encouragement, inspiration, fun and technical skill for my son, who wants to better his game. We thought that coaching might be aimed solely at academy level players and those hoping to be professional. Garry pitched the session just right for my son, who is at B league junior level, and just wants to play for fun.

Garry has coached my son to an excellent level. My son has got to a great level of football playing across Europe at academy level. If you ask my son, he will say Garry has had the biggest influence on his career. Garry really is Mr football, he lives and breathes it.

All set up ready to go, very approachable coach kept William busy all the time breaks to take on water, good interesting drills, encouragement when required and question while you trained to keep him on his toes explained as he trained why and where to go when he was doing something. Gave some drills to practise ready for next time. William was happy and looking forward to next time. Unfortunately Garry having operation on his foot and will be out for approx 5 weeks.

Danny (9) had his first session with Garry yesterday. It was fantastic, and Danny left the session beaming about the coaching and what he had learnt. Garry pitched it perfectly for a 9-year-old and has a really good philosophy to his coaching approach, He was both very attentive and encouraging of Danny, and the drills and techniques were spot on. He also went 'above and beyond' by sharing little clips and links for Dan to keep practising and watching at home

Garry coached my son for 2 years. Garry throughout this time demonstrated that he is not only a highly effective coach, he is also a good role model and highly supportive. Garry frequently captured examples of professional footballers demonstrating specific skills or strategies and shared these. This enabled my son to visualise and understand how to enact the skills and set pieces more effectively. Above all Garry is a genuine, hardworking, and committed coach. I wholeheartedly recommend him and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Being coached by Gary, I have developed dramatically as a player and can honestly say without his guidance I would not be the same player I am today, playing at Western League football level. He is always enthusiastic and encouraging. He is a great man and knows how to make many people smile and enjoy their football.
