Coaching Experience

Experienced UEFA A licence coach for over 25 years. Formerly with Manchester United, Burnley, Southampton and Barnet. Experience of coaching players of all abilities and backgrounds, including academy, semi professional, professional players both men and women. This includes players now playing in the Premier League , EFL & within the non-league pyramid. Whilst coaching in North London 5 years ago at St John`s Prep School I taught Ethan Nwaneri who is now in Arsenal`s first team. Specialising in Position Specific Individual Development for all players performing in all formats of football from 5v5 - 11v11.

Upcoming Coaching Slots

Within the next few weeks sessions will be delivered on grass at Marsland Green Lane Astley M29 7LH under floodlights. These sessions will be on Wednesday evenings. We`re looking to introduce group sessions & team coaching.

Session Plan

It is very important for me to involve parents with how I delivery sessions, the break down, the purpose, and the outcomes. So parents are always welcome to listen to my tactics board explanations, the reasons why, how,& when? Session Principles To educate all players in their own chosen playing position on the pitch. I focus on the principles of In Possession, Transition, & Out of Possession within the tactical elements of game in the session. Sessions always begin with an 'Ice Breaker' warm up. I then like to engage all learners with the appropriate knowledge based on the players' playing level. So, adapting to the players' needs. My sessions are thinking sessions that challenge all players in my care.
