Coaching Experience
I have coached and managed a football team in Brighton since 2013. I now work for VYD (Value Your Development) which is a Community Interest Company. The main role I do for them is as a Football Development Officer on a project to develop a youth football infrastructure in Whitehawk from the bottom up. Other sessions I have coached have been with refugees, SEN children, Afterschool clubs, Summer Camps and Walking Football.
Session Plan
Search for Blazepod on YouTube. I love to use them to create sessions they give players performance feedback. They are also great to recreate the decision making progress of in game scenarios. I also like to be innovative with the equipment I use to further challenge my students. Using rugby balls, tennis balls and samba footballs to improve their control and when they go back to using a normal football again they have improved so much in a short space of time
