Coaching Experience

Hi, welcome, I hope you're well and thanks for your interest. My coaching experience includes coaching both boys and girls from 5 to 16 years old. As well as adult players, both men and women. Currently coaching at Birmingham City FC Academy. Previously coached at Port Vale FC Academy. Other coaching roles include development centres at Burton Albion FC and Derby County FC. In addition l have coached various age group teams from grassroots levels / junior football playing in JPL / MJPL and University Men's / Women's teams. Furthermore I've coached football overseas in the USA for 12 months. Currently on the AYA (Advanced Youth Award), Level 4 FA Coaching award.

Session Plan

The 1 to 1 sessions/small group sessions are holistic and tailored to suit the individual needs and requirements of the player. Each session will cover a core theme / topic (this can be choice of parent / player). Sessions are challenging, progressive and fun, along with the aim to develop and improve the player’s ability. Sessions will look to cover the 5 corners which are: Technical, Tactical, Physical, Social and Psychological. As well, I provide ongoing and regularly assessment of player. Lastly, I believe it is important to build a coach to player relationship, with developing the person as well as their football skills.
